I THINK bodybuilding.com has a lot of samples if you look in their store. I see people on the message board saying they got a lot of free samples

Why should a company sponsor you? A company will not offer sponsorship if you have nothing to offer in return. More often than not if you place an order with online companies they may send you free products to try but don’t expect heaps. In May next year there will be a bodybuilding expo on at the NEC in Birmingham, this will be the third year. The main supplement companies will have stands there and offer out free samples.

I once got some free samples that a store was giving out, but they had so many weird chemicals and artificial flavors and things that I didn’t want that I wound up throwing them out. (Maybe the store was just trying to get rid of them too, come to think of it!)
If you get free samples, you might wind up with a lot of random crap you don’t need, which won’t help your bodybuilding at all, and might even be harmful. The Journal of the International Society of Sports Nutrition found that only a few types of supplements are “apparently effective and generally safe” anyway. You should start by figuring out exactly what types of supplements you need based on your diet and activity level. Then if you’re low on funds, shop around for basic supplements where the company isn’t spending a lot of money on fancy packages and advertising.
